Have you ever had gotten a run in your stockings and needed to get a new pair fast. This happened to me just the other day when I was out shopping right before a holiday party. I noticed a snag that was going to go from bad to worse very quickly. Instead of spending an arm & a leg at the department store I ran out to Duane Reade for my fashion fix.  Here is my after photo:

Around the holidays, I am often asked for fashion advice: what to wear for office parties. what to wear to family gatherings, what to wear to a New Year’s Eve Party, etc.

Now that the holidays are here and the temps have plummeted I always suggest legwear! One of my favorite things to do in cold weather is to wear an LBD and pair it with nice thick patterned tights.

For extra-frigid days I double up! There are so many places to find great tights but the rule of thumb is the more fashionable they are the pricier they are! At least that’s what I thought. Until I checked out Duane Reade Legwear and tights!

I am obsessed with how chic Duane Reade is! As a New Yorker, I spend quite a bit of time and money at many Duane Reade locations around the city.  I love their selection of fashion tights from classic opaque to chevron patterned to metallic shimmer there is something for even the most fashionable among us.

In a perfect world. holiday prep is a lovely way to spend time and share tradition with family and loved ones. The reality is there is a bit more stress in getting ready for the holiday season.
