Staying true to her wrap dress roots, Diane von Furstenberg’s Spring 2014 collection included a nod to the carefree days of the 70s disco era. Supermodels walked the runway with confidence and oozed sex-appeal. There was a special guest runway appearance by Naomi Campbell, who closed the show!
Wrapped, free-flowing, lots of movement yet current for now. In keeping with the fashion, the hair and makeup were equally free-flowing and carefree. The hair was straight but as if dried on its own, parted down the middle, “un-styled” but sleek and healthy looking.
Similarly, The makeup was pared down to easy-going sheerness. Skin is kept sheer with the use of highlighter on the cheekbone and temple, groomed brows with nearly no eye makeup and shiny lips in sheer neutrals to just a blush of color.
Here are some pieces we love from DVF for Fall 2013
