I am such a jewelry addict that as soon as I heard about Bevel, I wanted in!
Bevel hosts online trunk shows for up and coming designers. It's definitely one of those 'Why didn't I think of that?' concepts. The members-only site has exclusive pieces from each designer for their trunk show (which has a limited run). I was delighted when they asked me to choose a piece that I loved from the Vanessa Chew collection to feature.
I selected an amazing mixed material necklace for one of my fab readers (that's you!) to win as part of Bevel's 12 Days of Christmas holiday trunk show!
About the DesignerIn 2006, Vanessa Chew took a chance and moved from The City by the Bay to The City that Never Sleeps in hopes to expand and challenge her life. Since that time, Vanessa Chew has achieved her Master’s Degree in Industrial Design at Pratt Institute in New York City. Her work has been featured at Model Citizens NYC, Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival and was recently selected as an exhibition partner by BMW i. Vanessa developed a love for working with wood during a summer studying in Copenhagen. Vanessa designs with the intent of contributing to people's lives, not to the landfill.
Visit Bevel and enter my access code (NYC10) to explore the site and shop the trunk shows! Make sure to leave a comment in this post telling me your favorite thing about Bevel.
