My Feelings on #Sponsored Content

A quick note about #sponsored content.

In my early days of being a blogger, there was so much hustle! ๐Ÿ˜ŒNo one knew where things were going, I certainly didn't. It took me a lot of hard work to get me where I am today and I've been able to get to a point where I can participate in a larger conversation. I've had many editorial titles and roles, and have always actively watched ๐Ÿ‘€ all these changes that were happening within media & entertainment. There is a perception that doing a #Sponsored post is something to be ashamed of, that advertising for brands is some capitalist form of selling out. ๐Ÿค‘ Roger Federer ๐ŸŽพ is sponsored by Nike and even Jessica Simpson ๐ŸŽค๐Ÿ‘— was sponsored by Proactive. Sponsorship is not a new concept and shouldn't create a sense of illegitimacy if it is properly disclosed. As a content creator, I have spent endless hours to create one blog post, one video or even a single image. Yes, it's worth it. ๐Ÿค—
I work with brands in many ways to tell stories ๐Ÿ“– that resonate with my readers and followers and I've been doing this for years! Let's continue the conversation.
