Starting today, Birchbox is opening Birchbox Local to the public for a limited time. Customers will be able to experience exclusive services, build their own Birchboxes, shop for prestige products and more.
Last year Birchbox created their first-ever New York Fashion Week activation with the Birchbox Sample Stop press lounge, and this year they’re at it again with Birchbox Local, now expanded to two floors to maximize the Birchbox experience. Situated in Chelsea Market conveniently located directly across the street from MILK Studios.
I was one of the lucky journalists invited to stop by to meet Hayley Barna and Katia Beauchamp. I got build my own Birchbox, while filling up on candy and refreshments, charging my devices, and enjoying services before jumping in the photo booth to capture the moment. Sponsors include Intel, Resource Water, Pilot Pens and Chobani.

Now its your turn. Starting September 12th Birchbox Local will open to the public. Customers can book makeup, hair and nail services, purchase and build their own Birchbox at the sample wall, and buy full-sized product from prestige brands such as Color Club, Stila, Oribe, Caudalie and Jouer.

Reservations will be secured for $15, and include a $15 voucher that is redeemable towards a ‘Build Your Own Birchbox’ or full-size retail products (in-store only).
